Types of Treatment

Credit Landing Orthodontics offers a variety of services in an effort to provide patients with a beautiful smile.  Typical problems treated may be among the following:

• Fang teeth- teeth erupting that tend to grow out to the sides
• Cross bite- top teeth inside lower teeth rather than lower teeth inside top teeth
• Overcrowding- teeth that are too big for the jaws that the patient has
• Impacted teeth- teeth with a poor direction of growth that do not come through the gum tissue
• Open bite- inadequate contact of the teeth
• Over bite- too much overlap of the front teeth
• Spacing- teeth that are too small to fit the size of the jaws that cause spacing
• Underbite- mismatch in size between the top and bottom jaw so the bottom appears larger than the top

Dr. Boyko and his staff treat both children and adults using a full range of treatment methods. Metal and clear braces, removable appliances, Invisalign^TM, combined surgical and orthodontic treatment, and early interceptive treatment will be evaluated to choose the options best suited for the patients needs.  Successful orthodontic treatment can improve a patient’s ability to chew, swallow, overall appearance, and self-esteem.
